The RAISED Project
My own “RAISED” story began with my grandparents fleeing various hopeless situations in Iraq and Eastern Europe to get to the United States. After having my first child, I set out to connect with immigrants (both new to the country and 1st/2nd generation) to help navigate raising a child in modern American culture and nurture the part of me that appreciates, and is still connected to, other places. I went looking for different perspectives and practical advice, but stumbled into so much more. Currently in Production, podcast launch 2023.
